In our school 4th 5th and 6th class are having a Rugby World Cup ping pong tournement this is where each child gets a name of a team in the Rugby World Cup and plays for that country. The tournement started on September the 9th and is going to end on the 23rd of October. There are 4 pools in the tournement. The countries are:
Dylan Van Dale - Namibia Conor O Brien - Gorgia
Dylan Sugrue -USA Michael O Sullivan - Japan
Niamh De Jong - Australia Kieren Mac Vay - Scotland
Rachel Muphy - Ireland Tadgh O Sullivan - Japan
Nora Murphy - Samoa Tim Muphy - Romania
Sadie Knightly - Canada James O Leary -Italy
Kieren Galivan - France Karl Bukley - France
Kaitlin Fenton-White - Argentina Elenor O Brien - Russia
Sean o Conor - Tonga Liam Brean - Wales
Stacy Rigter - Fiji David Murphy - New Zeland
Dion Burk - England Caoime Bergin - South Africa
In pool A there is: New Zeland, Tonga, Canada, France and Japan. In pool B there is: Scotland, Romania, Argentina, England and Gorgia. In pool C there is: Australia, Italy, Ireland, USA, and Russia. In pool D there is: Figi, Namibia, South Africa, Wales and Samoa. Best of luck to all the countries!!
